none My very very old NYDJs died out a few months ago.

I got fantastic value out of the jeans. Over much much time they even faded nicely.

Though the style numbers were the same between my old and new jeans, there is a difference in look.

My old jeans had way more of a pencil or straight cut bottom of the pant leg. The new jeans are definitely a boot cut. I do like the straight cut

look better at this time.

Margaret W I wanted a pair of jeans that were not hanging on my hip bone or squeezing my crotch. I'd like to say these jeans were perfect, and they would have been, but they were too large and baggy in the seat. I usually wear a two and that's what I ordered. The fabric is very nice: good color, very soft and comfortable and nice stretch. The waist was a little too big (as always) but not bad. The waist sits just slightly below the belly button and there is no derriere exposure in back. The fit around the hips was good. I don't think they would hold your tummy in though as advertised, but I don't need my tummy held in. There was way too much room in the seat. "Very baggy butt" syndrome. My sister tried them on and she wears a size four to six and they were snug and fabulous on her. I thought about sending them back but decided to keep them. I liked the fabric and comfort so much that I had the seat altered and now they look great on me too. I am a dressmaker so this solution wouldn't work for everybody. I've been trying to find the same style in a size zero, but so far no luck. Are you listening, Zappos? I love Zappos so I'm not complaining, just waiting. My best advice is order at least one size smaller than your regular size and that might still be too big. Do give them a try. They look good and feel great and yes, they're worth the money. With Zappos you have nothing to lose.

Ellen S I LOVE these jeans! In my forever quest to find the "perfect" jeans, I have probably bought a hundred pairs, and these are the ones! They fit my curvy (but not fat) behind, do not pull or show "saddle bags" at the thighs, they are higher at the waist than those jeans with the 1/4" zippers, without being "mom" jeans high, they don t gap at the waist, they stretch when I move without binding, but without looking like stretch mom jeans, they do not pull down for that horrible "plumbers crack" look when I bend over, they are a great color, and look fantastic with heels in the evening! They wash well, feel snug out of the dryer and stretch right back out quickly. Wash them alone in cold the first time, they bleed a little! I did need to hem them even to wear with heels, I am 5 5 , they were WAY too long, so that adds to the cost, but well worth it. I have noticed: My husband of 27 years puts his hand on my "behind" and pats it a lot when I am wearing these jeans!

Trendgirl Im 54, weigh 145, short-torso body with more leg. I first washed in cold water/dried in the hot air dryer, because I wanted them to shrink a bit. Afterward, the straight-leg, size 8 fit me perfectly when wearing flats or little heels; they were just a bit short when wearing low heeled Dingo ankle boots. The boot-cut would be better for this type footwear. If you dont want them to shrink, I would wash in cold water, cool air dry and then hang to finish drying. I can wear other jeans, but these feel so comfortable that I really prefer them; just watching for sales and coupons.

Guammom I received a pair of "NYD" jeans for Christmas and fell in love with them so I ordered more to replace my old NOT "NYD" jeans assortment. They fit really well and make me look trimmer than some of my old jeans did. They are so comfortable too.If there is anything negative to say it's just that when I first put them on I was surprised by how high cut the waist was. I don't mind it but my first thought was "old lady jeans"! But then I am - soooo!!! I am not gonna show my tummy anyway and they look and feel great on!

Anonymous I got the straight leg jeans the other day and I agree with the majority of posters -- these jeans look and feel great. I am between sizes so I ordered the smaller size and they fit perfectly. No bulges, pulling at the crotch, and so far no stretching of the material. I have only worn them once and not yet washed them so I am a bit concerned that the material may stretch over time based on some of the other reviews. If so, I will just buy another pair in a smaller size. I believe it's well worth spending more on a good-fitting pair of jeans than throwing away money on a closet full of jeans that don't quite fit the way I'd like. Will definitely purchase more. I'd also like to put in a word for Zappos for their prompt service!

Anonymous I don't usually write reviews nor do I pay this much for a pair of jeans, but these britches are incredible, and worth the price! The pockets are such that they don't bulk out on your hips or rear end. The jeans do indeed slim you and mask any muffin top. These are truly the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned. People have even complimented me on these, a pair of old jeans, I couldn't believe it! I now own several pair of NYDJ jeans and cords. Although I am a size 8, I have bought both 8s and size 6s, and I can go either way because of the stretch. And if you have long legs like I do, then you'll also find the inseam to suit you just fine.

Cherylcat, C Fab Jeans Built For Real Women - If you're tired of searching for perfect jeans only to find baggy fannies and shapeless legs in the dressing room, welcome to Not Your Daughter s Jeans! NYDJ are made SO well, cut for a woman's body and fit like a dream. Gone is the 'muffin top' with a proper waist height, legs are well tapered and LONG, providing that "skinny jean" look which can usually only be found in more youthful brands. Built in stretch and tummy panel add to the lean look. They launder well and hold their shape wash after wash. These jeans are worth every penny, and priced well on Zappos. Thanks for adding them to your inventory, Zappos!

Chrissy m These jeans are great. I've have received compliments from many people, mostly asking if I've lost weight! I will say however, I don't get why they are so expensive. I know a bit about quality, cut and sewing and yes, these are great on all counts, but this price? That having been said, I have purchased a couple more pair since and been equally as pleased. They sizing is a little funky; I'm a consistent size 8 (5'7" 140) usually. This pair I ended up ordering 8 and returning and reordering size 6. The other two pair I bought are size 4 and size 8. Love the jeans though.
